Overview: As a Hydraulic Sales and Business Manager with specialized knowledge in hydraulic systems, hoses, valves, and cylinders, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and managing business operations within the hydraulic equipment industry. Your expertise in hydraulic technology will be instrumental in understanding client requirements, providing technical solutions, and effectively leading sales teams to achieve targets. We are seeking the right individual that has a proven track record of hydraulic repair, maintenance and crafting detailed client solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the hydraulic equipment market, with a focus on promoting hydraulic systems, valves, cylinders, and related components.

Technical Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, valves, and cylinders to provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring the delivery of optimal solutions that meet their needs.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including OEMs, distributors, and end-users, to understand their requirements, address concerns, and foster long-term partnerships.

Product Positioning and Differentiation: Develop strategies to effectively position the company’s hydraulic products in the market, highlighting their unique features, benefits, and competitive advantages.

Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities within the hydraulic equipment sector.

Pricing Strategy: Develop competitive pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining attractive to clients.

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expansion into new geographic regions, industries, and customer segments, to drive revenue growth and market share.

Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to the internal team to enhance their understanding of hydraulic systems and components.

Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality control procedures to maintain the highest levels of product quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Minimum of [3-5] years of experience in sales management within the hydraulic equipment industry, with a strong emphasis on hydraulic systems, hoses, valves, and cylinders.

Proven history of achieving sales targets, driving business growth, and building successful client relationships.

Deep understanding of hydraulic technology, including hydraulic principles, components, applications, and troubleshooting.

Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with others.

Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales strategies.

Willingness to travel as needed.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 – 4:30

Salary: Annual Salary + Commission

Work Location: Savannah, GA. There will be occasional travel to other locations.

Marine Diesel Technician, Savannah, GA

Job description:
Performance Power Systems is a full-service marine diesel engine facility specializing in marine powertrain and generator systems with locations in both GA and FL. We are an Authorized Marine Dealer for Caterpillar®, John Deere®, Northern Lights®, Cummins®, Cummins Onan®, Volvo Penta®, MAN®, and Scania® among others. Performance Power Systems has successfully been in business for over 25 years and has experienced a steady growth over this time. We are currently seeking a marine diesel engine technician in Savannah, GA. Marine Diesel technicians familiar with CAT, MAN, JOHN DEERE and other marine engines and generators should apply. Experience in diesel marine engines a must. Applicants should have troubleshooting and diagnostics experience as well as service and repair experience. Experience in load bank testing, diagnostic software, electrical, welding, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs. This position should keep technicians on the shore, but some travel is expected from time to time. Passports are a requirement – company will pay for passport if employee does not have one. Successful applicants will pass pre-employment background checks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs preventive and routine maintenance on CAT, MAN, JOHN DEERE, and other marine diesel engines and any other marine related equipment.
  • Performs in-house repairs on main engines, generators, electrical, engine air controls, hydraulic steering, systems and air conditions on all vessels and related equipment.
  • Diagnose, adjust, repair and overhaul diesel engines on all vessels.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains proper documentation on all paperwork.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all marine engine customers & representatives while working onboard vessels and performing field service duties.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of field service experience with marine diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical and air controls.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to read and interpret certain documentation such as technical manuals, etc.
  • Knowledge of diesel engine maintenance & repair procedures and ability to troubleshoot & diagnose to determine causes of operating errors, acting without supervision on approved repairs.
  • Knowledge and experience in selecting and using appropriate tools and equipment to complete the required task safely and efficiently.
